Launched in 2021 by 2 friends who created a recreational lifestyle brand that hones in on its playful aesthetic. The paddles are manufactured in Asia. Their composite paddles are made out of a variety of parts and plastics. The primary core of the paddle is made out of a honeycomb plastic with a fiberglass surface. 7 of their paddles are USAPA approved and the rest are pending.
RECESS offers custom skin designs, 25 paddle minimum, 14+ day lead time. The free design service is perfect for country clubs, hotels, school/teams and special events. Their standard paddle is $86 and the elongated 512 paddle is $148. Additionally, they offer outdoor recreational balls, sets, clothes and accessories. Merchandise purchased online at recesspickleball.com can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt to receive a full refund. All orders placed between November 1st and December 31st can be shipped back within 60 days from the date of receipt for a full refund. Exchanges are not supported at this time. If your paddle breaks or becomes unusable during normal play, they’ll make sure you’re taken care.
