This paddle is a design partnership with pro Tyso McGuffin. The first model is known as Project 002. Selkirk took Project 002 and upgraded its design and performance to launch the Power Air. The Selkirk Vanguard Power Air Invikta paddle offers a dynamic throat design to offer optimal air flow for more power and dwell time. The QuadFlex 4 Layer Hybrid Face features a first-of-its-kind two layers of Fiberflex and two layers of Quantum+ carbon. The grip size runs medium, providing a snug fit without feeling too tight or too loose. There are 3 options to customize the grip. The paddle features Selkirk's proprietary Power Air technology, which creates air pockets within the core of the paddle to enhance the speed and spin of the ball. A FlexFoam Perimeter is achieved by injecting specially formulated foam into the entire perimeter of the paddle; The technology increases durability, adds weight, enlarges the sweet spot and absorbs the vibrations. Additionally, the ProSpin+ NextGen Micro Texture technology features a longer-lasting spin surface . This technology allows the player to dominate the court. Essentially, the Power Air generates similar spin and power to the 002, but enhances the overall control. If you found the 002 a bit much to handle due to its incredible amount of power, but you loved the spin technology, the VANGUARD Power Air might just be the perfect paddle for you.The paddle may require a learning curve to due to its unique design. Control comes with several weeks of play compared to the AMPED & Vanguard models. Some players may find the paddle a bit strong. If you are in a required green zone, you may find this paddle to be a tad loud.

The Selkirk Amped S2 paddle has a large face and short handle, ideal for beginners to intermediate players. You can oder the paddle in various weights and grip options. The S2 has the largest face in the Amped lineup. The Fiberflex technology dampens the vibration along with a thicker core. The Amped S2 is a well balanced paddle offering decent control and a vast sweetspot. It does offer some top spin along with average power. However, you do not want to play with robust power until you have mastered control, and this paddle is geared toward a beginner to intermediate player. This model is great if you are a tennis player looking to get into pickleball. or simply a beginner looking to take their game to the next level.

The Selkirk Halo line offer three paddles (power, control and signature) in 2 shapes (Max, XL (elongated)). For the price point it is a decent paddle. The handle is well constructed with covered polymer. You will find the spin to be adequate, around 1425-1450 Rpms. While not stellar, it is decent for comparable paddles within the same price point. Control felt natural and performed well while playing a soft game. This paddle will not provide the power you may desire in a battle round. Adding lead tape will increase the sweet spot, if hitting off center. This is a decent paddle for a beginner-intermediate player who enjoys playing a controlled game and for those who prefer a more modest price point.
